Climbing slipper

The original Boreal Ninja was the first ever slip lasted rock shoe, which brought about the first extremely lightweight,  sensitive, personally adaptive and high performance climbing footwear that could be taken on and off quickly. With the modern norm of performance climbing footwear to use down-turned toe profiles the Ninja has come of age.

Now able to handle the smallest of holds at the highest of angles but with enough dexterity to wrap volumes on the steepest walls and using rubber as sticky as it gets (Boreal Zenith Ultra rubber) this simple shoe is suited to anyone bouldering indoors or outdoors and is great for sports routes and training.

The remarkable combination of comfort and performance at a cracking price and with a stunning look is achieved by combining several technologies: the innovative Wrap Rand™ surrounds and supports the foot, the snug 3D moulded heel is made from Zenith Ultra™  rubber providing exceptional heel hooking ability, the midsole provides an ideal balance between edging stiffness and smearing capability, the rubber toe band provides outstanding friction and ensures minimal stretch.
On top of this the unlined synthetic upper ensures a precise fit and comfortable feel whilst the elasticated integrated tongue with central pull strap makes for easy fitting and removal.

We love the Boreal Ninja and have found a great fit for both narrow and wide feet due to adaptive nature of the upper, get yourself a pair you won't be disappointed.

  • 440g
  • Ultra sticky Boreal® Zenith Ultra outsole. 4-4.5 mm thickness depending on size
