Salewa Speed Beat GTX Mens Hiking Shoe

The Speed Beat has a robust fabric upper with a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® lining. The "Pomoca" outsole provides reliable grip and traction when moving fast in alpine terrain.

On the sole, the lug design is fairly aggressive that performs well in a variety of different conditions. Salewa have designed a double-density EVA midsole to ensure sure-footedness and correct contact with the ground for heightened grip.

In addition, their 3F system connects the instep area with the sole and heel for flexibility, yet a very precise fit. Salewa have also given some useful protection on the toe box. For use during wetter conditions, the Speed Beat benefits from a stretch gaiter that keeps out trail debris and allows you to stash the laces.
