Gadgets are more efficient and more numerous than ever before. To save buying, carrying and throwing away masses of expensive, heavy and environmentally damaging batteries, more and more people are turning to solar power. Technological advances mean that solar chargers are also lighter, cheaper and more efficient than ever before.

We keep two solar charging systems, from Silva and Freeloader. The options from Silva include a dedicated battery charger and a 12v aaplicance charger suitable for phones and small electronics. They can both be strapped to a rucksack to charge while you walk.

The system from Freeloader is component based, with one solar panel that can be added too or adapted for a huge range of uses. We also stock pouches and accessories including a car charger.
