Steel Carabiner or Captive Eye Carabiner

The Edelrid Bruce HMS is a steel carabiner that features a captive eye and a screw gate locking system. This is ideal for use on high ropes courses and climbing walls.

Edelrid has designed the Bruce HMS carabiner to feature a tough and durable steel construction. It then incorporates an alloy gate closure that has a clean nose. This steel carabiner can be easily locked via the twisting screw gate. The bottom of the carabiner features a sprung loaded captive eye. This captive eye carabiner is great for use when belaying and setting up anchor points, as it helps to prevent the carabiner from twisting.

January Staff Newsletter

January saw us starting to get into the swing of things again. A little snow saw many of the team in the Beacons, as well as further afield with trips to the Peak District, Cheddar Gorge and Pembrokeshire all squeezed in. New Years day allowed few of us to get out (even if the weather wasn't great in South Wales) but a number were in still Snowdonia and elsewhere where it was a little nicer.
