River Running Kayak or Kayak For River Use

The Dagger Axiom Action is a playful river running kayak that is available in three sizes for the perfect fit. In addition to the three adults sizes there’s also a Dagger Axiom 6.9, which is a great childs kayak.

Dagger has designed the Axiom action to offer great value for money, while also being a great performing kayak. The axiom kayak itself features a planning hull that offers good levels of forward speed. The full-length rail on the kayak makes it very easy to carve your break ins and breakouts with ease. There is a good amount of volume in the front of the kayak; this ensures you have plenty of room for your feet. The rear of the kayak has a tapered stern, which makes it playful and ideal for eddy line tail squirts.

The axiom action fittings are very simple but yet very good quality. There is a well-shaped seat that has a creek seat pad attached for comfort. The comfort is then enhanced by the well-padded adjustable backrest. The control of the boat is good due to the well-shaped thigh braces. In the front of the kayak there is an adjustable bulkhead footrest that is essential for white water. Further features and fittings on the axiom include the front and rear aluminium grab handles, there’s then a third grab handle located just behind the cockpit. On the back end of the kayak there is a drain plug, this is ideal for ensuring you get every last drop of water out.
