The extra width of the nylon sling also has a curious psychological advantage. Instructors have reported back that beginners are more comfortable using wider slings, even if the strength rating is the same. The Raumer Europe Anchor is composed of a stainless steel AISI 316L Ø13mm ring, this product resembles and acts as a carabiner fixed perpendicular to the face. Recommended for belays or for top-roping lower-offs as the 13 mm diameter surface makes it highly resistant to wear. Please note that these anchors must be placed in pairs to ensure maximum safety. One of the anchors must be used as a “passive” back-up, which also prevents the rope from twisting.
The Raumer Tap features a sophisticated design that guarantees perfect anchorage to the rock. It has very strong and tough teeth, so it is not necessary to use another Tap to complete the hole. These self-drilling anchors are used with the Stroker to manually drill a hole. Made with galvanized steel.
The Stal SSTP is an independent and equalised stainless steel climbing wall anchors featuring low profile updated 'pucks'. Available in three configurations: stand-alone anchor, with two 10mm PPE stainless maillons for bottom roping or two captive bar Alpha Steel carabiners for lead anchor use.
