Helly Hansen have developed Lifa technology that offers both warmth and breathability in their base layers. This comes in a crew, long sleeved design and a selection of colours. Though it also comes in a zip design which offers extra breathability and body temperature management. Lifa offers one of the best moisture management technologies available. Lifa technology is different to most other synthetic base layers on the market offering a 2 in 1 base layer with 100% merino wool and Lifa Stay Warm Technology.

 

Lifa moves sweat away from the skin and has an outer Merino wool or soft wicking fabric layer to redistribute the sweat further and regulate body temperature. When exposed to moisture the Lifa fibres immediately wick this away from your skin allowing it to evaporate off the body or into the next layer. This keeps your body at a comfortable level and free from sweat!

Launched in 1970, Lifa became an international success and is used by Canadian Alpine Ski Teams, Finnish National Cross Country Ski Team as well as mountain professionals and mountain athletes. Now you can use it as part of your everyday active wear!
