Icebreaker Vertex Legging Bodyfit 260 Woman
legging is a perfect piece if you want winter leggings
that are thin and lightweight enough to wear under jeans, but still warm as an individual piece.
They have a brushed waist band
that is supper comfy, a gusset that actually does give you more movement. The flatlock seams
are great and don't feel bulky under jeans, but are not as comfy in non-stretch skinny Jeans. Heather Seal Of Approval:
I've had them over two winters now, and they have been great, I wear them with skirts and shorts but I also wear them under jodhpurs for the cold days and under my Jeans in work when it gets a bit chillie in the shop. There is also enough stretch in them to flex your moves in yoga, which is great if your like me and love a bit of outdoor 'yogi' time.
I don't tend to wear them for climbing as they are a little small in the gusset for me for that activity, and I don't think they'd wear well with a knee jam for the real adventurous. However, I would recommend them for indoor climbing or scrambling outside when theirs a chill in the air.
If you mare after a lighter more diver pair for season and not as a stand alone peice the Oasis Legging
is a great alternative from Icebreaker, and Odlo Original Warm long pants
are great as a warmer legging as a baselayer.
Icebreaker have some brilliant stuff to explain about the benefits of Marino wool:
