Up and Under is the UK's largest Kajak Sport Stockist, we are based in Cardiff, South Wales and are only 10 minutes drive from the Cardiff International White Water Centre. We are also only 10 minutes off the main M4, so you can stop by on your way when visiting the Gower peninsular.
Kajak Sport was established in 1989 by four inspirational kayakers and kayak explorers from Finland, to date they have sold in excess of 1000,000 sea kayak hatches but they still have the same thoughts "from kayakers to kayakers".
Kajak Sport are based in Finland and produce a wide range of kayak spare parts, kayak outfitting systems and also a high end Carbon Sea kayak Paddle and a Carbon Greenland Paddle. Kajak Sport are most well known for their range of sea kayak hatch covers.
Whilst Kajak Sport do produce a vast range of sea kayak hatch covers. These hatch covers are the number one choice for many sea kayak brands and other kayak brands. Some of these brands include P & H Sea Kayaks, Venture Kayaks, Pyranha Kayaks, Tootega Kayaks, Tiderace Sea Kayaks and also Rockpool Kayaks to name but a few.
Kajak Sport Daybox
The Kajak Sport Daybox is the perfect solution to adding an additional 3.5 litres of storage capacity to the deck of your sea kayak. This can be easily retrofitted to most kayaks, as long as there is a flat section of deck that can be accessed from the inside. The daybox is fully waterproof and is available in two height options (low or high).
Kajak Sport Deck Ball
The Kajak Sport Deck Ball can easily be added to kayak deck lines and bungees. Lock the position simply by adding a knot inside. The deck ball gives significant help when storing and using spare paddle or other deck items which need to be used while seated.
Kajak Sport Oval ABS Hatch Rim
The Kajak Sport Oval ABS Hatch Rim is available in two different sizes, a 42cm x 30cm and a 44cm x 26cm option. The most popular being the 42cm x 30cm as this is the size that appears on most P&H sea kayaks. These Rims are great when used in conjunction with a hatch-click hatch cover as it's a simple way of retrofitting a hatch kit. these are easily glued or screwed onto a flat part of the kayak.
Kajak Sport Oval Click-On Hatch
The Kajak Sport Oval Click-On Hatch is available in two different sizes, a 42cm x 30cm and a 44cm x 26cm option. They feature a rigid plastic construction for most of the hatch and the edges are made from a soft rubber that easily seals to the kayak or the fitted ABS hatch rim. They are also UV treated so they have protection from the sun when being used in hot climates.
Kajak Sport Oval LRC Hatch
The Kajak Sport Oval LRC Hatch is available in two different sizes, a 42cm x 30cm and a 44cm x 26cm option. The light rubber cover (LRC) hatch series is identical to original rubber covers, however it offers great elasticity that is able to over stretch to ensure water tightness. Made with fully UV and weather protected materials for use in hot climates.
Kajak Sport Oval Original Hatch
The Kajak Sport sea kayak hatch covers are made from a high quality rubber and are available in two different sizes of 42cm x 30cm and 44cm x 26cm. Kajak Sport hatch covers are used on the majority of sea kayak brands and they offer a snug and secure fit. They are also UV protected to give greater levels of performance when exposed to the sun for longer periods of time.
