The Climbing Technology Nupste Evo is an excellent value 12 point crampon which, in the semiautomatic binding, is suitable for B2 or B3 flex mountaineering boots. This version has a plastic front strap and a quick-fit heel clip to engage at the back of the boot. So the Nupste Evo Semiautomatic will work well with Salewa Vultur GTX and Scarpa Manta Pro GTX for example.
The Monta Rosa is lightweight, flexible crampon for general mountaineering use. They can be fully adjusted by hand, and can be folded easily, which makes them ideal for packing them into bags. Where this crampon excels is in ski touring, trekking, and for those with smaller boots that require less points under foot.
