Scott Supertrac Ultra RC Shoe is a trail ultra runners dream shoe. Designed for mountain running, trail ultras and races this stunning shoes traction has been adapted to provide grip and stability that are optimized at times when your body is tired. The midsole offers a higher drop at 8mm than other Scott race shoes as this is more economical and better suited slower paces. The greater stack height (21mm in the forefoot) provides protection from the hard ground meaning less impact on your feet and body, keeping you going stronger for longer. The Swiss made Schoeller Dynamic fabric is used for the first time in footwear. This one-piece upper delivers an unprecedented level of comfort (it has 4 way stretch that hugs your foot and breathes well whilst keeping a high level of moisture out) and durability (no recourse to an easily damaged membrane and reveling in large levels of abrasion resistance), both of which are essential for ultra running. 
Lovers of the now obsolete Supertrac Kinabalu should not fear as this shoe basically ups the anti on each facet of that classic of British conditions distance trail running and is bound to become your next favourite shoe.

Ultra Traction Rubber: This is Scott's most durable and resistant compound designed for longer life on a wide variety of trail conditions. Designed to protect the shoe over high mileage and outlast other compoundswhile still offering high levels of traction throughout.
eRide: The eRide rocker shape midsole increases running efficiency.  The unique rocker shape creates a stable mid-stance, promoting the faster and more efficient running style that runners strive for. Regardless of running gait eRide works with the body to promote a more dynamic running position reducing heel strike impacts and increased running efficiency.
Aerofoam Plus: AF+ has been developed as a lightweight foam with improved cushioning. AF+ is more elastic than the original Aerofoam midsole material with increased durability and rebound to offer protection while maintaining an efficient stride.
Schoeller®-dynamic: This re-inforced softshell fabric fabric is not only protective, comfortable and hard-wearing but also breathable and water repellent. The comfortable fabric is elastic, holding your foot, retaining its shape and offering outstanding freedom of movement.
