Welcome to the watersports section of our website. Up and Under has been supplying watersports equipment since the business opened in 1977. We have a massive amount of knowledge and experience. We are also the largest Canoe and Kayak Store in South Wales and are only 10 minutes drive from, The Cardiff International White Water Centre. (CIWW) If you want to get wet, we will help you get on the water!

The P & H Composite Virgo is based on the highly popular plastic version, the Virgo CLX / Virgo MZ3. This composite sea kayak gives a higher level of performance and specification. The composite Virgo will offer greater levels of rigidity, which will make it faster through the water. Due to the nature of composite materials, there are also multiple levels of construction. There is also a range of custom options. As for colours, the list is endless. So, you really can have a unique kayak at a price that suits your budget! The Composite Virgo Sea kayak comes as a single size. It features a long waterline and a feature rich deck design. The 4 hatches offer great levels of storage, whilst the Siva 70P compass position and the retractable skeg will keep you on the correct course. There is a great configuration of deck lines and elastics that are perfect for holding items such as a sea chart.

Peak PS Wraptor H20 PFD
The Peak PS Wraptor Zip H20 PFD is a high specification buoyancy aid that is perfect for your coastal sea kayaking adventures. It is also a number one choice for the stand-up paddle boarders and open canoe paddlers. The Wraptor H20 is easy to get on and off due to the front zip access, internally there is a waist belt that secures around the torso with a single buckle. The Wraptor PFD has plenty of adjustment to achieve a perfect fit. The adjustment is due to the addition of the side compression straps and the adjustable shoulder straps. All the straps are easy to adjust and will enhance the snug contoured fit. The adjustable shoulder straps are located under the shoulder pads, which offer additional comfort for when carrying a boat. There are six front pockets, which offer great levels of storage. A further pocket is located on the rear of the PFD; this is perfect for a hydration system.

NRS Ninja OS PFD
The NRS Ninja OS PFD is a great consideration when you are looking to take your kayaking along the coastline. It is perfect for sea kayaking and works very well for recreational kayak touring and paddle boarding also. This sea kayaking PFD is available in two bright colours, which ensure you are always highly visible. The additional Solas tape really will enhance your visibility even more, especially whilst on an after dark paddling trip. The Ninja OS PFD features a partial overhead / side entry design, which is tremendously easy to get on and off. Based around the NRS orbit fit system, it offers an exceptionally snug and secure fit when on the paddlers torso. The front pocket offers a great volume of storage; it also features smaller dividers. This enables you to store your gear in a neat, organised manor. There is an actional front pocket, at the base., this is great for a kayak safety knife.

The Peak PS Wrapid Guide Women's PFD, a high specification whitewater kayaking buoyancy aid, which is ideal for more technical river running. The Wrapid Guide is based around a new platform designed for the female form and now with additional sizes. The Wrapid Guide has seen lots of change to kayaking PFD design. It now incorporates an internal chest stap to offer a snug and secure fit for the best levels of safety. The old-style waist belt has been removed, which makes the PFD shorter in design. Internally the new chest strap, secures via a single buckle. The Wrapid Guide incorporates a partial overhead partial side entry design. This makes it exceptionally easy to get on and off. The final fit of the PFD is via a large 38mm external buckle and the dual tension chest harness. The final perfection of adjustment is via the lower belt on each side of the pfd. The chest harness also adjusts on the right to secure the fit. Further adjustment is achieved via the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps are also partially hidden by the shoulder pads, which also offer enhanced comfort. There is a vast amount of storage in the Wrapid Guide as it also features five front pockets.

Peak PS Wrapid Guide PFD
The Peak PS Wrapid Guide is a high specification whitewater kayaking PFD, which is perfect for more technical river running. The Wrapid Guide is based around a new platform that sees a radical change to kayaking PFD design. It features an internal chest stap for the snug and secure fit that safety demands. The classic waist belt is no longer present, which results in the PFD being a bit shorter in design. Internally the new chest strap, secures with a single buckle. The PFD then incorporates a semi over the head and semi side entry design which is exceptionally easy to get on and off. The PFD then has a second level of securing to the torso via an external single large 38mm buckle and the dual tension chest harness. The final trimming of adjustment is carried out by the lower belt on each side of the pfd. You can also use the chest harness on the right and side. Further adjustment also comes via the shoulder straps. These are hidden by the shoulder pads, which also offer enhanced comfort. There are then vast amounts of storage in the Wrapid Guide due to the five front pockets.

The Peak PS Wrapid Vest Women's PFD, designed to offer great levels of performance, whilst on your whitewater kayaking adventures. With a new and designed platform for the female form, it also incorporates a new range of ladies’ sizes. This PFD features a partial overhead / and partial side entry design. It also features the new Wrapid Design. The design incorporates a belt, which secures around the chest and helps to prevent it from lifting when sat in your kayak. Once on the torso, the Wrapid Vest can be customised to a perfect a snug and secure fit. This is possible, due to the side compression straps and the adjustable shoulder straps. Three pockets on the front offer great levels of storage. All the pockets have zip closure access. The main front pocket is great for kayak safety gear such as a safety tape and a karabiner. Whilst the other pockets are great for items such as a mobile phone and ear plugs.
