The Mammut Smart HMS 2.0 Screwgate Carabiner offers the same double safety and easy handling as the older version. The screw locking can be operated only when the safety gate is open. Accidental opening is excluded, as well as unintentional twisting of the carabiner in the belay loop of the climbing harness. This prevents dangerous lateral loading. The Beal Be Safe is a HMS screwlock karabiner that's perfect for use with belay devices as it can accommodate two ropes at once, without the risk of them becoming overlapped in the event of a fall. The Petzl William is a large carabiner can be useful in many places. This William's shape and size means it's useful for belaying and abseiling with an Italian hitch with both single or double ropes, anchoring multiple ropes and slings and keeping the belay station organized.
