	Former Up and Under staff member and customer favourite Mike Napier now runs Pada Pada Adventure providing Adventures and Private Trips across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. Mike is a UIMLA-certified International Mountain Leader, holding one of only two internationally recognized professional qualifications for mountain leadership. In addition to his expertise in mountain leadership, he is also a skilled kayaking and climbing instructor as well as having in-depth knowledge of expedition medicine. The Pada Pada team specialises in creating unique and personalised experiences for trekkers and adventure lovers alike as well as providing classic trek such as Everest Base Camp, Annapurna, Kilimanjaro and Oman's Western Hajar.
	Up and Under are proud to help support and provide equipment to Validus32 teams and expeditions. VALIDUS32 - Embracing the Outdoors, Empowering Lives. Validus32 are a British non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the rehabilitation of wounded, injured and sick (WIS) veterans and serving personnel through outdoor adventures. Their expeditions focus on providing the opportunity to reconnect with nature, build camaraderie, and rediscover a sense of purpose. By harnessing the power of adventure Validus32 aim to empower their beneficiaries and help them transition to civilian life with confidence and resilience.
	Cardiff has a wealth of great climbing facilities. If it's top roping and lead climbing then get yourself to Boulders on Newport Road. If it's bouldering then there is bouldering at both Boulders Newport Road and Boulders Culverhouse Cross, but in terms of scale, variety and quantity of bouldering then look no further than Flashpoint Cardiff. Alongside around 200 boulders on slabs, walls and all angles of overhang there is an adjustable Kilter Board, a huge 45 degree Digital Training Board, Large Circuit Board, the Mega Roof, the Top Out Boulder, Traversing Walls, Training Area which includes hang boards, pull up bars, benches, free weights, yoga mats, excercise balls and plenty of space. If you need more to help you stay all day then there is a cafe on site serving lovely cakes and coffee, great pizzas, beer and shakes.
