Clothing
The purpose of appropriate clothing is to help to regulate the temperature of the body, at the same time as providing protection for it. Obviously, there is a huge difference between the best gear for a day climbing at your local crag, a winter walk across the Cairngrom plateau, a fortnight in the jungles of Borneo, or a month long expedition in the Himalayan (we are proud to be one of only 6 Rab Expedition Stockists in the UK). Our staff do all these things, and are happy to answer your questions about the best kit for the job.
We select the best clothing from baselayer through insulation and fleece to waterproof shell and we have what you need for all your walking, climbing and mountaineering needs, all carefully selected by our staff to suit you. This includes care and cleaning products, gaiters, short leg and long trousers and waterproof overtrousers and some funky travel and casual shirts and tees too, all from the best brands (see the list and filter if required to the left)). Plus we have loads of socks, hats and gloves from all sorts of people.
