Welcome to the Outdoor Education section of our website. Since our inception in 1977 Up and Under has been the leading supplier to Outdoor Education Centres, Outdoor Activity Centres and many government agenices including; UK wide Police Forces, Fire Brigades and many departments of the Ministry of Defence.
Unlike many outdoor businesses, Up and Under is still owned by the people who founded the business and are not answerable to to shareholders, and yes the owners still do work here on a day to day basis (though not every day).
Our contracts and senior management team have close to a cumulative 200 years of experience in this field. So you can be assured of the best levels of help, guidance and service.
In this sector of the business, we also have a range of our own branded items, the branding is simply "Up and Under". Keep a look out for the logo in the online catologue.
The Outdoor Education sector of our business has the best selction of kit, from the best suppliers and manufacturers and has been selected based on suitability, durability, performance, value and sustainability. With close relations to a number of centres we take real life product feedback from the people that count.
Where the products available aren't up to the task we have designed and manufactured specific Outdoor Education purposed clothing and equipment in consultation with a number of Heads of Centres, including products such as our reknowned Centre Cags and Overtrousers and the tried and tested Cordura Universal PFD. Up and Under are THE Outdoor Education Clothing Supplier.

Cavers Knee Pads
The Warmbac cavers knee pads are supplied as a pair and will add much needed comfort when on your caving trips. These knee pads for caving feature a full neoprene construction. The front of the pads are 6mm thick and the rear securing straps are 3mm. These are easy to get on and off and also offer basic levels of protection to your caving oversuit.

Jobe Rental Life Vest
The Jobe Rental Life Vest, a highly versatile 50N ISO certified PFD (buoyancy aid) that is available in ten sizes for a near perfect fit.
