On Sight Publishing North Wales Limestone - The Definitive Guide (2023) covers all the climbing along the North Wales coastal area - from Benllech in the west to The Devil?s Gorge (near Mold) in the east, including the popular Great and Little Ormes of Llandudno. The book details nearly 2,000 routes, 600 more than the 2014 edition. The majority of the routes are well equipped sport climbs, with the exception of the nationally significant trad venue of Craig y Forwyn.

The author, Jakob Oberhauser knows all the great climbing destinations in Oman, many of which are published for the first time in this book. The book has 180 pages and 141 topo maps, it covers 26 areas and 104 sectors. Brilliant photos tempt the reader to visit this exotic climbing destination on the tip of the Arabian peninsula.

Climbers Club Culm & Baggy is an extensively researched guide that's been put together by local activists with many years of rock climbing experience in the region. The book features detailed phototopos and some fine action shots. The best of the boulder problems in the area are included.

Fell and Rock Climbing Club Dow & Coppermines is a pocket-sized climbing guide that comprehensively covers the routes on Dow, neighbouring Blind Tarn Crag and for the first time, records the climbs on the adjacent outcrops.

Fell & Rock Climbing Club Duddon & Wrynose is a climbing guide that covers both the Duddon Valley and the popular crags accessed from Wrynose Pass. It gives clear route descriptions and generous sized photo-diagrams, showing the lines of the routes. There are also many great action shots included in the guide and there’s the usual supplementary information on parking and camping, plus a comprehensive crag selector.

The Oxford Alpine Club Sport Climbs in England & Wales: Volume 1 North describes all of the best sport climbing destinations across England and Wales, with full photo-topos, approach and access information and detailed maps throughout.

British Mountaineering Council's Lancashire Rock guidebook is the 2016 edition of the definitive guide from the BMC, it covers all the routes across Lancashire in one volume. There are 3200 routes in total, ranging from Mod to E9 across 95 different crags throughout the county.

The Frankenjura is a big range of limestone crags in South-East Germany, north and east of Nurnberg. Some of the hardest bolted sport climbs in the world are located here – but there is a good range of other grades too. This topo guide is in German, but with an English introduction, and excellent clear maps and diagrams, it should be reasonably comprehensible to even the most partisan Brit. Grades are UIAA but a conversion chart is also included.

The Panico Alpinverlag Frankenjura Band 2 Guide is the second guide in this collection and features even more sport climbing routes of this popular German destination. Together with volume 1, there are well over 1100 pages of information on the 12,600 routes in the northern Franconian Jura. Volume 2 features 6500 routes across a grade spread of grades - the guides are in German but with an English introduction and contain easy to follow topos and loads of colour photographs.

The Ordnance Survey Dinky Map is a pocket-sized waterproof map that uses the OS Explorer Map background. A3 sized paper folded to A6 — that's the size of a small paperback book.
