The Astra Hiyak is a high-performance kayaking boot that is perfect for sea kayaking and whitewater kayaking. It is also a great option for other watersports such as stand-up paddle boarding. The Hiyak sole unit is based around the highest friction G. SS rubber. Astral then combined it with a razor-siping detail. When you add these together, it offers the best levels of traction around. The sole unit also incorporates drainage holes in both the toe and the heel area. This helps prevent a build-up of water in the boots.
