The Deuter Aircontact Lite 50+10 Backpack is a great choice for ambitious hikers that value carrying comfort and low-weight. Deuter's lightweight hiking pack is now even lighter and features the Aircomfort back system for maximum ventilation. With VariQuick back length adjustment, an adjustable sternum strap, ergonomic shoulder straps and hip fins, this no-frills pack has all the carry comfort you need for hiking over long distances or thru-hiking. As a top loader, contents are easy to pack and unpack. A cell phone or snacks are quickly accessed in the airy stretch mesh side pockets. And a helmet holder can be added using dedicated attachment loops on the front.

Aircontact: The easiest way to carry heavy loads is when backpack and wearer become one. This is what Deuter's Aircontact principle is all about: the body contact system brings the weight close to the body and therefore close to the canter of gravity. This results in full pack control and an effective load transfer. Furthermore, the Aircontact cushions made from special hollow chamber foam guarantee fantastic ventilation due to the pump effect of every movement.
The Result: Up to 15 % less perspiration as with a standard compact back system (proven in tests conducted by Gabriel L.&T and the University of Erlangen) – combined with outstanding load transfer and a secure, perfectly balanced fit.
