Wet Proof by Meindl is the waterproofing solution designed specifically for nubuck, suede, and fabric boots. For optimal boot care and extended longevity, we recommend using Wet Proof alongside a boot conditioner like Sportwax or Conditioner and Proof.

This new spray-on waterproofing treatment offers superior protection –ensuring your feet are adventure-ready whatever the weather. Suitable for all upper materials, this product offers durable repellency to keep feet warm and dry and also adds conditioning for Leather, Suede and Nubuck.

Meindl SportWax has been specifically designed for use with nubuck leather. It will help to condition and keep the leather supple, in turn preventing it from cracking or drying. The leather will lose the brushed nubuck effect and darken, but treatment will improve water-resistance. Water-resistance will be further improved with the use of Wet Proof, particularly in soft leather areas, e.g. the tongue gusset on the Meindl Borneo.

Zamberlan Hydrobloc proofing cream has been specifically formulated for use on full-grain leathers, but is also suitable for use on NuBuck leather and most other leather boots. It will improve the water resistance of the leather, which is essential for boots that do not have a Gore-Tex membrane, but also desirable for all leather products as it is important to keep leather in good condition to prevent drying out and cracking.
