Since the early 80s when climbing legends Jerry Moffatt and Ben Moon first hung out on the Ormes this sheltered limestone cave has provided a focus for cutting edge activities. Each successive generationhas left their markwith a series of key problems echoing the rise in world boudering standards. The publication of the North Wales Bouldering guide in 2004 stimulated an intense period of development with the number of problems and links increasing at a phenomenal rate.
The Gogarth North guidebook is a climbing guide to the glorious sea cliffs of Gogarth, situated on the western tip of Anglesey.
Gogarth South covers the series of cliffs running southwards from Gogarth Bay past the South Stack lighthouse, around The Range and on to Rhoscolyn. It includes famous cliffs such as Mousetrap Zawn, Red Wall, Castell Helen and Yellow Wall, but also showcases several less well known zawns.
This third edition is the first volume of a two-volume set to North Wales: The Mountain Crags. The bouldering scene in North Wales is now more vibrant and energised than it has ever been. Each year exciting new crags are revealed and the development of existing crags is greatly expanded.
