The HF Equipment Compact Classic throw bag is one of the most important bits of kayak safety gear out there. A throw line is not only essential in white water kayaking, but also a much-needed item for other watersports such as coasteering, rafting, and gorge walking. This throw bag enables you to decant / throw a length of rope to a kayaker, who is in trouble and needs rescuing. The Compact Classic throw bag features a 20m length of 8mm 8-plaited rope. It also incorporates a tensile strength of 1100daN. With a tough and durable Cordura shell and a plastic reinforced handle on the base of the bag, this is quite easy to use. A push stud easily secures the opening of the neck, and the d ring makes for easy securing into your kayak.

HF Equipment have designed the Compact Classic to incorporate a 20m length of 8.5mm 8-plait rope. This rope also features a 1100daN tensile strength / breaking load. The bag itself, features an exceptionally tough and durable Cordura Shell. The base of the bag enables the rope to exit, so it can create a good size handle. This is then fed through a plastic sleeve for enhanced comfort. When it comes to repacking the bag, this is easily accomplished due to the wide opening. When repacked, the opening is easily secured by the push stud closure. A small d ring on the top of the bag is perfect for securing into a kayak.
