Kajak Sport Deckbox

The Kajak Sport Deckbox has a plastic construction and is a one-piece design. It is sealed with a Kajak Sport Original Hatch, the hatch has a 15cm diameter. The base of the box features a concave design, to fit comfortably to your kayak deck. The concave shape changes by about 3/4" from the outside edges to the centre line. 

The base of the hatch features moulded in channels that can be filled with a sticky back foam, this helps to prevent the deck storage pod from sliding around on the deck. The foam really enhances the grip. 

The end of the deck pod features an elasticated bungee, this is also fitted with a hook that helps to secure the pod to the kayak. 

A further four moulded-in channels on the top of the deck box offer secure placements to use your kayak deck lines, to keep the box secure on your deck. If your kayak does not have deck lines, some could be added to aid the fitting.
