The Leki Khumbu Lite AS is a lightweight trekking pole that's suitable for all your mountain adventures. A combination of top quality aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with an edgeless Aergon CorTec grip and Leki's new SpeedLock+ locking plus Dynamic Stability System (DSS) antishock makes the Khumbu Lite Antishock efficient, hardwearing and versatile in use.

SpeedLock+ is a lighter, smaller evolution of the Leki SpeedLock (also known as SpeedLock 1), their original external locking mechanism. Adjustment is as quick and simple as flicking a lever and with a holding force of over 70kg it's ready to be relied upon throughout a long day trekking.

Leki's ergonomic Aergon grip shape makes all-day use comfortable too. You'll never find a corner, no matter where you hold it and the cork/rubber composite of CorTec is tactile but tough, with vent holes to keep your hand drier in summer. In addition the DSS module in the tip adds shock absorption for protection of your joints when walking on hard surfaces. A hardwearing strap and carbide Flex Tip complete the ensemble, ensuring quality from end to end.

Dynamic Suspension System: The Dynamic Suspension System is a vibration-absorbing construction made of elastomer material. According to a study by the University of Tübingen, it reduces the impact force by approx. 40%, thereby relieving the musculature, joints, and tendons.
Aergon: Ultralight, edge-less trekking grip with proven comfort and ergonomic grip zone, as well as an integrated, adjustable safety strap.
Strap: Adjustable strap with safety release. It is ultra-light, highly breathable and offers ideal comfort.
Aluminum: Aluminum HTS (Heat Treated Shaft) 6.5
Speed Lock Plus: The adjustment system works via an external clamping mechanism which allows for easy adjustments and offers maximum hold.
Trekking Basket 2.0: Compact trekking basket. Protects against sinking into snow and mud and can be changed easily by hand.
DSS Tip: Precise pole positioning and an optimal grip on nearly any terrain. This tip should only be used with a basket.
