The zips allow you to maintain and alter your bodily temperature when exercising, so if you get too warm you can unzip the top to feel cooler- and vice versa! It also allows to wear the top over another item without being restricted by a full neck.

X-Warm is warmer that the normal Warm rating, so for Xtra cold temperatures, this will keep you Xtra warm.
