Allrounder sandwich specialist
Staff Review: Fits so many sandwiches in. Originally purchased to mainly be used to run commute to work as my running vest couldn’t fit my lunch in comfortably. It does this job great at a good price point. I have since used it to go on longer runs and overnight trips as well as fast and light rock climbs in the dolomites. It has held up surprisingly well even when being dragged up chimneys. It is still comfortable when full if it is packed in a way that makes sure nothing sharp is sticking into your back and the large net pockets mean that you can carry a lot more than you would think you can. The back padding that doubles up as a sit or little sleep mat is great and the use of pegs to secure the waistbelt (which can also be used on its own for shorter runs) means that if you are fastpacking you can take two less pegs for your tent or tarp. My main gripe is that the tent pegs can slowly work their way out when running but this can be solved with an elastic band. The design on the newer version has addressed this issue but it is currently only found on the 18l and 32l versions.
