The DMM Flight is a suitcase style opening crag sack with 45 litre internal capacity. Your rope, helmet and drinks bottle have specific external storage too if you need more space. An 80m rope can be stored in one half of the Flight wrapped in the rope tarp, or strapped externally on top if more space is needed inside for trad gear. In the other half of the Flight your harness, shoes, chalk bag, etc. can be stored behind a mesh panel.
The Zenith is a small climbing rucksack ideal for long multi-pitch routes. It has a neat, smooth profile which doesn't hinder your access to items on your harness whilst climbing and is less likely to snag in chimney or descents compared with bulky or fussy sacks. The zipped panel and bucket style opening limits spillage and allows easy access even on hanging belays. At the top of the sack there is a grab handle that serves as a hanging point too. Clip the Zenith into the anchor and get to your refreshments or guidebook etc with ease.
Lowe Alpine's offering to climbers who don't carry unnecessary weight, the Misfit 27 is a crag bag aimed at sport climbers, boulderers, and those with difficult gym approaches. Thanks to the TriFlex system, the pack sits close to the back, which, combined with the hip belt, might also make the bag a good accompaniment on those multi-pitch trad days. With a wide opening main zip, internal security pocket and gear loop, there should be no trouble of access and organisation.
The Outcast 44 is the ultimate sport climbing backpack. With a book-style opening, rope tarp and reinforced clip-stick holder, it provides a quick and easy way to stash gear and move from route to route.
