The WRS Mega Sled is a high-capacity inflatable rescue platform designed for demanding flood and swift water rescue operations. Built with large-volume sponson tubes and a rigid 15cm AirDeck hull, it provides exceptional stability when carrying rescuers, casualties and equipment in challenging conditions. The raised bow profile helps prevent the front of the sled from diving under load, improving control and confidence during tethered rescues and casualty recoveries. Constructed with three separate air chambers and a reinforced hull, the Mega Sled is built to withstand the rigours of professional rescue work. For 2026, it features a new Grip Coating deck surface, providing improved traction and a more secure platform when loading or treating casualties. A unique transom flap allows the sled to be configured as either a self-bailing rescue craft or a sealed deck platform, making it particularly effective for transporting flood victims where keeping occupants dry is important. With capacity for up to six people in moving water and even greater carrying capability in calm conditions, the Mega Sled is a versatile solution for rescue teams, emergency services and flood response units.
