The rope also emerges from the bag on the base, this enables you to clip in with a karabiner. The final feature of the Patria are the sewn eyelets on the back, to make it compatible with a waist mounted belt system.

It is quite often, more about the accessibility of the person in need of help. The Limpet has an exceptionally small and compact design which makes for easy storage on the deck of your kayak. The lightweight and compact size also enables you to throw it with ease from sea kayak. The Limpet features a durable fabric construction, which is flat in design. The top of the bag incorporates a roll top closure which secures with a Velcro tab. The rear of the bag features sewn eyelets, to enable it to be compatible with a waist belt system. As for the rope, this is 14m in length, it has a 6mm diameter and a braided construction, it also floats. The breaking strength of this rope is quite low at 200daN / 2kN. However, please remember it is designed to rescue a swimmer, not a waterlogged kayak.
