Leki Makalu FX Carbon Compact

The Leki Makalu FX Carbon Compact trekking poles are designed for hikers who want a highly packable folding pole with the stability needed for demanding mountain terrain. Built with lightweight Carbon PRC 1000 shafts and a four-section folding construction, they collapse down to just 41cm for easy storage in a rucksack or travel bag while still offering reliable support on the trail. The ergonomic Aergon Air grip provides a comfortable hold with a rubberised grip head for extra control on steep descents, while the integrated grip extension allows quick hand position changes during climbs or traverses. Leki’s ELD folding system allows the poles to be opened or closed quickly with the push of a button, and Speed Lock 2 Plus ensures fast, secure length adjustment between 100cm and 120cm. Finished with Trekking Basket 2.0 and a Flex Tip Short carbide tip for confident placement on mixed terrain, the Makalu FX Carbon Compact is a lightweight yet capable trekking pole built for technical trails and travel-ready adventures.
