Y Spreader

The Alp Design Avalon is a harness with padded large bands which make it extremely comfortable. It is also very light and has a low point of connection.

The Alp Design X-Pile is a microfibre pile bi-elastic under-suit. Warm and comfortable, its "stretch" fabric can provide for excellent freedom of movement.

The Lyon Swaged Eye Ladders are a strong, lightweight caving ladder, available with either a 25cm or 30cm spacing between the rungs. They are available in various different lengths.

Rigging a ladder and lifeline pitch? No need to throw a strop with a Lyon Wire Eye Belay around! These are really useful for rigging a ladder or lifeline when there are no bolts or they look a bit suspect, these come in four different sizes and with a protector. As they provide two anchor points for a ladder, there is no need to add a Y-spreader into the system. We've also found them really useful for rigging practise SRT setups outside!

The Petzl OK Oval has been designed for use with pulleys, but is also very useful as a general purpose karabiner at belays and for caving cow-tails. It has an oval shape that allows optimal loading of devices with a wide cross-section, such as pulleys, rope clamps and mobile fall arresters. This lightweight karabiner is made of aluminium and it is available in three different locking systems.
