Coniston Spraydeck

The Palm Coniston Spraydeck is a mid range nylon spray deck that is available in five different sizes for the optimum fit. It is ideal for white water kayaks, touring kayaks and also entry-level recreational kayaks.

Palm has designed the Coniston so that the main spray deck is made from a mixture of 210D and also 420D nylon for optimum levels of performance. The top edge of the spray deck is then made from tougher 1680D nylon and that really does protect against wear and tear while doing rescues. The waist tube of the deck is a single size and will suit paddlers with a 23.5" waist right through to about a 50" waist. The seams of this great nylon spray deck and also heat taped for enhanced levels of performance. The edge of the spray deck that is actually in contact with the kayak features a super grippy PU sheath and this then incorporates a 6mm shock cord.

The Coniston is easy to get on due to the large size range, it’s also easily removed from the kayak in the event of a capsize due to the large front grab handle. Along each side of the front section of spray deck there is reflective detailing sewn into the seams. Around the top of the waist tube there is a soft neoprene edging that makes offers greater levels of comfort when wearing the spray deck next to the skin.
