The Palm Extrem Women's PFD is possibly the number one choice for the female whitewater kayakers out there. There has been no compromise in the design of this PFD, it has been built to the highest possible standards for safety and performance. It benefits from having a front-opening design, multiple points of adjustment and a selection of different sized pockets to store your safety kit and essentials.

The Palm Extrem Women's PFD has been designed to meet the high requirements and demands of the female whitewater kayakers out there. It features a front opening design so its easy to get on and off. This is initially secured by a large piece of Velcro, the final securing of it is achieved by the 4 clip buckles and a chest harness. Once on the paddlers torso, there are 3 sets of adjustment straps to give a snug and secure fit. The first set of straps are located on the waist, the second set are on the side of the chest and the final set are on the shoulders. Again, this is finished off with the chest harness being adjusted correctly. 

The Extrem Women's PFD has four pockets for storage, the main pocket is on the front. This is easy to access via a zip and is perfect for a kayak safety tape and a rescue karabiner. There are then two smaller pockets on the upper chest, one accessed via a zip and one accessed by a small press stud. These are small, but perfect for a kayak safety knife and maybe some kayak ear plugs. The final pocket is on the inside of the PFD, located on the back panel. This is designed for a hydration system or maybe essential documents whilst on an overseas kayak trip. 

In order to achieve the highest levels of safety, the Extrem Women's PFD is also fitted with a kayak chest harness. This comes fitted with a Palm APC O Ring, however you can also add a kayak cow tail, this will then enable you to set a firm anchor point for land based kayak rescues.
