The Petzl Absorbica-I Vario is a versatile and reliable adjustable single lanyard, designed with an integrated energy absorber for superior safety and comfort during horizontal lifeline (rope or cable) progression or elevated platform work. It’s engineered to ensure users weighing between 60 to 140 kg (75 to 140 kg under CSA Z259.11-17) can work safely without having to pass intermediate anchors. The innovative Vario adjustment system allows the lanyard length to be easily modified, reducing potential fall height and offering optimal flexibility.

Adjustable Length: The Vario system allows for precise adjustment of the lanyard length, ranging from 70 to 167 cm (without connector), helping reduce potential fall height.
Energy Absorption Technology: In the event of a fall, the progressive tearing of the energy absorber webbing ensures the impact force is limited, protecting the user.
