Ergonomics and comfort were priorities when designing the Beal Hands Up handled ascender. It is equipped with a reinforced grip area, making it more comfortable and practical. This design allows a two-handed grip during rope ascents: on the side under the trigger as well as on the top. The opening of the cam is facilitated by an ergonomic offset lever. This control mechanism is made entirely of metal for durability.
The Beal Hold Up has an offset mounting hole offset at a 90° angle. This allows the rope clamp to remain vertical and flat for excellent fluidity during ascent. In addition, the low attachment on the harness increases the amplitude of each movement. And for even more comfort, the opening of the cam is facilitated by an ergonomic remote lever.
A revolutionary chest ascender that features two proprietary rollers for a smooth interface with the rope. This not only helps with climbing efficiency by making the upward glide much smoother. It also reduces dangerous wear and tear on the device where the rope tends to rub on the body of a traditional ascender.
The Climbing Technology Ascender Simple + is a right hand rope clamp for ascending, hauling, and rescuing. The lever can be opened using one hand making installation and removal from the rope quick and easy. The cam is made of steel to be resistant to wear, yet the main body is an aluminium alloy to keep the device lighter in weight.
The Climbing Technology Cric is a multifunctional rope clamp that features an integrated pulley. It is suitable for use mountaineering, as well as in rope access work and rescue. The Cric is robust, practical and intuitive, with four different modes of operation and a compact size that allows for ease of use and the minimum time, material and space necessary in rope manoeuvres to a minimum.
The petzl ZigZag is a mechanical Prusik that allows the user to move around efficiently in a tree using a classic Prusik pulley system technique. The friction chain provides precision and fluidity when moving around. The pulley is mounted on sealed ball bearings to allow the slack to be taken up easily. Can be used on either doubled ropes or a single rope, providing great versatility.
The SafeTec ENForcer-H is a non-aggressive device and during correct operational use it will not damage ropes. In emergency deployment with the exception of very minor glazing a properly used EN Forcer will lock on to the Back-Up rope without causing serious damage to itself, its lanyard, karabiners or to the rope.
The Croll Strap enables the Petzl Croll chest ascender to be used effectively in conjunction with a wide range of Petzl professional work at height harnesses. It allows the top of the Croll to be held in an upright position, close to the body, enabling the rope to run smoothly through the device thereby reducing 'lost' movement.
