The Streamyte HDG Replacement Paddle shaft is one of many kayak paddle spares that we stock here at Up and Under. This replacement paddle shaft is the same that is used in paddles such as the Kinetic Polo HDG and the Riverstix Foundation.

Streamlyte Paddles have designed this replacement paddle shaft to feature a 100% fibreglass construction, it is also heavy duty for added performance and durability. The ends of the paddle shaft then incorporate an additional wrap to create extra thickness, thus giving extra strength on the ends. The paddle shaft then comes in three different diameters of 25.4mm, 26mm and also 27mm. The 25.4mm would be classed as a small shaft on a canoe polo paddle, whilst the 26mm would be classed as a standard thickness on the canoe polo paddles. The 27mm is then a standard damter for use in a whitewater kayak paddles.

Please remember, when you cut this kayak paddle shaft down to size, measure it carefully from the centre of the shaft and then cut equal amounts of each end. This will then ensure that the paddle maintains its balance of weight.
