The Werner Sherpa Carbon 1 Piece Straight Shaft are great river running kayak paddles that incorporate medium sized asymmetric paddle blades. They are perfect for small to medium sizes paddlers who do not require the maximum levels of power.
Werner designed the Sherpa as a river running kayak paddle that features a full carbon construction. The paddle blades incorporate a multi-layer construction. This means that the blade starts at one thickness and in the mid-section it gets thicker and then by the time it gets to the end it gets thicker again. The paddle blades are then mounted on a carbon paddle shaft. The paddle shaft then incorporates moulded in index paddle grips. The Werner Sherpa blades fall into the Werner "mid-size" section which also includes models such as the Player and also the Double Diamond. Werner "mid-sized" paddle blades are designed for small to medium size paddlers who do not want or require the highest levels of power.

The Dagger Rewind Creek is a river running playboat that comes available in three different sizes to achieve the perfect fit. The Rewind Creek falls into a category of kayaks often known as a "half slice kayak". In simple terms, there is plenty of volume in the bow, ensuring the kayak will resurface quickly after paddling a good drop, and it also enables you to wear a nice pair of river shoes. The stern features a low volume design to keep things interesting on the river, as you will be able to do lots of eddy line tail squirts as you play the river.
