DMM Nutbuster: In an ideal world the leader places protection with some thought to how easy it will be to retrieve for their second. In reality this rarely happens, and nut keys are invaluable for retrieving jammed gear. The Nutbuster takes this simple concept and refines it. A rubber handle gives a firm grip, and lets you bash the Nutbuster to remove stuck protection.
Features:Rubber Handle makes retrieving stuck protection easier: The Nutbuster's rubber handle protects your hands if you need to hit the end to retrieve stuck gear.Laser cut from stainless steel for low weight and corrosion resistance: Stainless steel construction increases the Nutbusters longevity by protecting it against corrosion. It also reduces weight, so carrying a Nutbuster won't slow you down.Narrow profile aids access to deep or awkward placements: The Nutbuster is thin and has a relatively small head, allowing it to reach placements that would otherwise be very difficult to clean.17mm spanner lets you tighten loose bolts: Underneath the rubber handle is a 17mm spanner that will fit most bolts, allowing you to tighten loose bolts on sport routes.

The DMM Brass Offsets are a crucial tool for protecting small flared cracks, they often fit perfectly into spaces nothing else will fit into. The brass used for the head of the nut is soft enough to bite into placements, but hard enough to resist deforming and pulling through. Wires are soldered directly into the nut head, allowing a thicker wire to be used and increasing overall strength. The colour coded swage gives easy size selection and allows the Brass Offset to self equalise when loaded, making the most of marginal placements.
The DMM Halfnuts excel in shallow placements, pin scars and situations where every gram counts. If they look familiar it’s because they have the same tapered faces and side profile as DMM’s tried and tested Wallnuts. The combined weight of the 1-11 Halfnut sets are 42% lighter than the equivalent Wallnuts and they are similarly colour coded.
The DMM IMP Brass Nuts are invaluable for those pushing into harder grades and need to take advantage of all protection options. The brass alloy used in their construction means that the nuts lock into the rock incredibly well, whilst also resisting being pulled through the placement. These are soldered directly on to wires, allowing a thicker wire to be used and increasing the strength of the IMP. The swage on the wire is colour coded for quick size selection, and allows one side of the wire to slide, letting the IMP self equalize when loaded and increasing placement security.
The DMM Micro Wallnuts are for use in extremely narrow cracks where a normal Wallnut size 1 is too big. The large contact surface area of the Micro Wallnuts allows them to spread loads over a greater area of rock, decreasing the chance of the rock failing. They feature straight sides to give alternative placement options to our other alloy micro-protection. Used in conjunction with Peenuts they provide comprehensive protection for small cracks in friable rock.
The DMM Offset Nuts are made with anodised alloy and are available individually as a size 7-11 set. These are bigger and more rounded than their brass brothers. Based on the famed HB design this anodised alloy offset set gets you placement where no other nut can because of their complex offset shape. Especially useful on granite cracks and colour coded for easy selection off the harness.
The DMM Peenut are small offset nuts (available individually or as a 1 to 5 set) are specifically designed for flared cracks and shallow placements, but seem to fit everywhere. Found to be particularly effective on Cornish Granite. Now colour-coded for quick identification.
The DMM Torque Nuts are designed to work in a similar fashion to Rockcentrics meaning they can be placed passively at a constriction or cammed into place in parallel cracks thanks to their offset edges. Additionally they are racked on extendable dyneema allowing the nuts to be neatly stowed on your harness and then extended when placed, eliminating then need for extra quickdraws. Four sizes are available covering a very wide range of large cracks.
Despite their simple appearance, the DMM Wallnuts are highly featured pieces of climbing hardware. Different alloy is used for each size - smaller Wallnuts are made from a harder alloy to prevent shearing, while larger sizes are softer so they can bite into placements. The larger Wallnuts also feature hollow construction to reduce weight.
