DMM have stripped the Puma down; slimming the waistline, belay loop and rear-elastics making it a much lighter harness whilst still keeping it comfortable and supportive for long days on the crag. To make this harness even more versatile, DMM have attached 4 Hypalon racking systems making it great for Winter climbing as well as Summer.

The DMM Dynatec 11mm Quickdraw Tapes are individual quickdraw extenders that can be used in between two karabiners to make a quickdraw. One end of the tape has a sewn-in 'tadpole' retainer of rubber which a karabiner can thread through and then clip onto the rope, making the karabiner less likely to spin or become cross-loaded by the rope in the event of a fall. The longer lengths are useful for trad climbing, particularly single rope use as there is less chance of rope drag and movement lifting out placed protection.
The DMM Edge Chalk Bucket is a must for bouldering walls, boulder fields and social dipping. It has a zipped pocket, a Velcro pocket and 2 brush slots so you can securely store and easily find essentials like; tape, sandpaper and superglue. When in transit the large carry handles and double drawcord closure keeps the chalk where it should be, whilst the stable base stops you loosing it once you unleash the bag.
The DMM Halfnuts excel in shallow placements, pin scars and situations where every gram counts. If they look familiar it’s because they have the same tapered faces and side profile as DMM’s tried and tested Wallnuts. The combined weight of the 1-11 Halfnut sets are 42% lighter than the equivalent Wallnuts and they are similarly colour coded.
The DMM IMP Brass Nuts are invaluable for those pushing into harder grades and need to take advantage of all protection options. The brass alloy used in their construction means that the nuts lock into the rock incredibly well, whilst also resisting being pulled through the placement. These are soldered directly on to wires, allowing a thicker wire to be used and increasing the strength of the IMP. The swage on the wire is colour coded for quick size selection, and allows one side of the wire to slide, letting the IMP self equalize when loaded and increasing placement security.
The DMM Nutbuster is an invaluable tool for retrieving jammed gear. It features a rubber handle that gives a firm grip that lets you bash the Nutbuster to remove stuck protection. It can also be removed to reveal a 17mm spanner that lets you tighten loose bolts. The Nutbuster is laser cut from stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance, with holes cut into it to minimise weight. A versatile and functional tool that every trad climber should carry.
The DMM Nylon 16mm Open Slings are wider and heavier than the Dynatec slings and are a great option for beginners or use in outdoor activity centres. Although they are rated no higher than dyneema slings, there is more material involved and so they offer a greater safety margin when dragged over a sharp edge. The extra width may give beginners more confidence too.
