The Grayl GeoPress Replacement Purifier Cartridges are designed to last 350 cycles (65 gallons / 250 litres). Their lifespan may decrease when purifying water with high levels of silt, sediment, or tannins. As the cartridge nears the end of its life, press time will increase; when it takes 25-30 seconds to press, it's time to replace the cartridge. Despite the longer press time, the cartridge continues to provide protection.
