Founded in 1990 by slalom racer Pete Astles, Peak PS was born out of frustration with ill-fitting gear. Pete began creating his own designs, which rapidly gained attention among competitive paddlers. What started as a small, independent effort has since evolved into one of the most respected names in global paddlesports, worn by Olympic athletes and trusted by top kayaking professionals worldwide. Manufactured in Derbyshire, England, Peak PS products are known for their quality, innovation, and attention to detail. In 2021, the brand rebranded as Peak Paddlesports (Peak PS) and launched Peak EU to streamline European distribution post-Brexit. Today, Peak continues to lead the way in paddlesport gear, producing cutting-edge products for canoe slalom, whitewater kayaking, SUP, and more.
