The Raumer Wing Hanger provides discreet strength for predominantly downward loads The Raumer Wing Hanger is purpose-built for secure anchoring where the force is mainly directed downward. Crafted from durable AISI 316L stainless steel, this robust hanger is formed at a 40° angle, ensuring optimal load distribution. Its sleek, matt grey finish helps it blend seamlessly into natural rock, minimising visual impact and preserving the beauty of outdoor environments.
Thanks to its thoughtful design, when a karabiner is clipped into the hanger, it naturally hangs perpendicular to the plate surface, allowing top-ropes to run smoothly on either side. This makes it an excellent choice for specific bolting scenarios and industrial or safety applications where downwards pull is expected.
Important Note: While this hanger excels in many rigging and work-at-height applications, it is not suitable for climbing or mountaineering use. For climbing anchors, please see the Raumer Art.148, which includes an integrated ring for added safety.
Features:
Optimised for downward forces: Specially moulded at 40° to handle predominantly vertical loads efficiently.
Minimal visual impact: Matt grey finish helps the hanger blend with rock surfaces, reducing environmental footprint.
Durable stainless steel: Built from AISI 316L for outstanding strength and long-term reliability, even in harsh conditions.
Smooth rope alignment: Karabiners hang perpendicular to the plate, ideal for balanced top-rope setups.
Certified safety: Complies with EN 795:2012 - Type A anchors.
