The rear of the bag also incorporates two sets of eyelets for ease of mounting on a waist belt.

It measures 20m length and is 10mm in diameter. The rope also features a 12kN breaking strength. The Colca features a very flat and low-profile design, so it is easy to store when not in use. It has a tough and durable fabric construction and is secured via roll top closure with a single buckle. The bag ius easy to pack, due to the wide opening beck. The rope also exits the bag on the base, so you can clip in with a karabiner. The final feature of the Colca are the sewn eyelets on the back, to make it compatible with a waist mounted belt system.

The Whetman Equipment Limpet Throwline, one of the lightest and most compact options we sell. This kayak throwline is ideal for sea kayakers, where the requirements are not all about strength. It is quite often, more about the accessibility of the person in need of help. The Limpet has an exceptionally small and compact design which makes for easy storage on the deck of your kayak. The lightweight and compact size also enables you to throw it with ease from sea kayak. The Limpet features a durable fabric construction, which is flat in design. The top of the bag incorporates a roll top closure which secures with a Velcro tab. The rear of the bag features sewn eyelets, to enable it to be compatible with a waist belt system. As for the rope, this is 14m in length, it has a 6mm diameter and a braided construction, it also floats. The breaking strength of this rope is quite low at 200daN / 2kN. However, please remember it is designed to rescue a swimmer, not a waterlogged kayak.

The base of the bag features a small loop, which is perfect for clipping into a boat with a karabiner if required.

The Palm Side Swing HMS Autolock Karabiner is constructed of anodised aluminium and a side-swing autolock gate. The wide, rounded shape allows a larger opening angle for a 26mm opening.
