The Mammut Smarter is an add-on for the Mammut Smart 2.0 belay device, this add-on increases safety in the event of misuse by the belayer. The Smarter simply attaches to the Smart 2.0 and in the event of a fall will trigger the blocking of the rope - even if the rope is incorrectly held above the Smart 2.0, this will prevent the consequences of beginners errors.
