The Bestard Canyon Guide SAR is a specialist boot developed for canyoning, whitewater activity, and maritime rescue. Based on the proven Canyon Guide platform and refined with input from experienced rescue professionals, it is built to perform in consistently wet and technical environments where grip, durability, and protection are critical.
Comfort and support remain central to the design. The boot offers a secure and stable fit while still allowing natural movement, making it suitable for both approach terrain and prolonged time in the water. The integrated gaiter and cuff closure help prevent debris from entering, while the design also allows efficient drainage to avoid water build-up during use.
Durability is enhanced through carefully selected materials, including a Cordura® and Microtech H2O upper with a protective rubber rand. Stainless steel components improve resistance to corrosion in saltwater environments, while the reinforced toe and stab-resistant inner sole provide additional protection in hazardous conditions.
Underfoot, the Vibram® Best Idrogrip outsole delivers reliable traction on wet and slippery surfaces, offering confidence on rock, riverbeds, and uneven terrain. Combined with a flexible midsole and anatomical footbed, the boot balances grip, comfort, and long-term performance for demanding use.
