This cEdelrid Rescue Canyoning Knife is very small. Ideal when trying to pack minimally. Using the included plastic holder, the knife can be easily attached to a harness for quick access when required. Despite its small size it can cut with ease due to the sharp, serrated edge but is safe to use in rescues because of the blunted tip.

The Edelrid Hot Knife is a mains powered device that allows you to cut ropes and tape, whilst sealing them at the same time. This is easy to use, you simply squeeze the trigger and the blade heats up. You can cut straight away and it will then seal with rope as you cut.

When a climber falls the belay karabiner is pulled upwards into the notch on the Jul 2, squeezing the rope to making high performance braking. The design of the Jul 2 makes paying rope out easier to lead climbers if the device is used in the "open" position with the thumb, it further assists belayers with lead falls. The Edelrid HMS Strike Slider FG is a fantastic belay karabiner that provides solutions to the problems that climbers have with their belaying krabs. The use of i-beam or H-profile construction creates a lightweight HMS or Pear shaped biner which is designed to work perfectly with the assisted breaking Edelrid Jul, Mega Jul and Micro Jul belay devices but will work equally well with any other belay device.
