The Valley skeg slider button, a small button that is located on the side of the kayak to assist with deploying and retracting the kayak skeg. There are two variants of this and they both secure to the skeg slider tube.

Skeg Slider Complete Assembly Unit

The Valley Skeg Slider Tube is made of carbon and fits into he slider unit adjacent to the kayak cockpit. It helps to deploy and retract the kayak skeg located at the rear of the kayak. There are two variants of the skeg slider tube and this depends on what is currently fitted. The first option is the version with the central hole and the second variant has a hole drilled at the end of the unit.

The Valley skeg wire is about 230cm long. It's made from a metal wire and it is particularly designed to fit Valley Sea Kayaks. This kayak skeg cable may well fit other brands to! It is easily fed through the tubing on the sea kayak and then bolts into the skeg blade.

The Whetman Equipment Deck Grabs are ideal for securing items to your kayak. They are easily fitted and removed so they can be stored away if not required. Whetman Equipment have made these elastics from a bungee shock cord and then fitted them with small plastic clips on each end. They are available in two different sizes and are sold in pairs.

The Kit Katcher has a front facing mesh pouch and one facing backwards (towards the paddler). The primary purpose is to capture and stow spare paddle blades and prevent loss of the paddles. Advancing waves in surf or tide races can wash over the deck and push the stowed paddles backwards and the mesh pouch will capture & prevent any loss of paddles off the deck.

The Whetman Equipment reflective deck lines are supplied as a 10m length. They are made of a 6mm cord and feature a reflective element for enhanced nigh time visibility.
