The Venture alloy hanger offers a simple solution to suspending the wood seat in your Canadian Canoe. It simply bolts through the ends of the seat and then through the gunnel. The set comes with 2 hangers and the canoe seat hanger bolts which include the bolts, nuts and washers. It come’s pre-drilled with the holes so all you need to do is drill the holes in the seat and maybe the gunnels, so it all lines up correctly.

The Silverbirch Canoes Seat Hanger (Excluding Bolts) is the starting point of adding an extra seat to your canoe. The hangers come supplied as a pair and come available in two drop heights of 10cm and 14cm. They are predrilled so are easy to fit, however they don't come with the bolts, nuts and washers included. The distance between the holes is 22cm for the standard and 23cm for the larger. These hangers give a more rigid and secure fit, whilst also providing a more stable ride than some of the alternative options available. The Hou Canoes Hou 14 is the bigger version of the Hou 13 model, it's a touch longer and has a higher load carrying capacity. It is also able to track a little quicker and in reality is a bit more of a multi-tasking boat. Its depth and longer length allow for a drier ride in the bouncy stuff and provide more forward speed than its little brother. This shape was designed as an all rounder as so it will paddle well on the open water, as well as on flat rivers too. Simply put, a fantastic 1/2 person boat.
