Perception Kayaks have designed the Triumph 13 around a self-bailing hull system and combined it with with a premium quality polyethylene construction. The self-bailing hull system offers great levels of safety; as in the event of a capsize, you can simply turn the sit on kayak back over, climb back on and continue your journey. The self-bailing hull system also works wonders in a choppy sea for things like kayak fishing. As any wave that breaks over the front of the kayak will end up in the cockpit area. At this point, the water will also drain straight back out. Due to the long keel line and the and the slightly narrower width, the Trimuph 13 will cut through the water with ease. For an overnight kayaking trip, you can sleep happily with the knowledge that the triumph has plenty of stroage space, There is a large hatch on the front, a smaller central storage hatch and a good size tankwell on the back. The tankwell is particulary well suited for a large drybag, as it can be easily secured via the bungee elastic retainers. The comfort of the triump is also up there with some of the best kayaks, It offers plnty of support due to the molded in foot and heel pegs. Further comfort is achieved due to the ergonomically shaped seat unit. This is then enhanced by the addition of the removable padded kayak seat. Man handling this sit on top kayak on and off the water is also very easy, this is made possible by the two molded side carry handles There are two futher carry handle, one on each end of the kayak.
