The Petzl Express Sling with String is a durable and ergonomic quickdraw sling, ideal for working routes. Its ergonomic design offers a secure grip, while the integrated String stabilizer keeps the karabiner in the optimal position for smooth clipping and protects the attachment loop from wear. Available in 12, 17, and 25 cm lengths, it provides flexibility in managing rope drag. Lightweight yet strong, it’s perfect for intensive sport climbing use.

The Petzl string has two main functions: holding the rope end carabiner in place on a quickdraw or sling, and protecting a relatively high-wear area of a sling from abrasion. Either way this will increase the durability of your equipment. Made from rubber.

The Kong Prog is a stiffened tubular sling with an end connector that closes automatically. The PROG mechanism stays opened until pushed onto a bolt, at which point the gates close. The benefit of using rope slings over webbing is that the core is protected from UV and abrasion damage by the outer sheath.

The Petzl Axess string is a nylon sling with a protective cover designed to be used in situations where lots of wear may occur such as indoor or outdoor centres. A wear indicator is also weaved into the stitching so that slings may be retired. Designed to be used with the Djinn snapgates and a maillon (not included).
